Herbalife
Back to case studies
Herbalife was paying $30 for every lead. That number had no business being that high.
The product had global demand. The problem was how they were reaching people. A single approach trying to speak to markets that needed to be spoken to differently, in their own language, through channels they actually trusted, with messaging built around how they thought about health and income in their own culture. It was not a traffic problem. It was a targeting and relevance problem.
We built landing pages across more than 20 languages. Not translated versions of the same page but pages built from the ground up for each market, English, Spanish, Portuguese, and beyond, each one micro-targeted to the specific audience it was speaking to. Then we rebuilt the traffic strategy around it. SEO to bring in organic volume, native ads to reach people in context, and an affiliate marketing program managed on a cost per lead basis so every dollar spent was accountable to a result.
Within 90 days the cost per lead dropped from $30 to $2.50. Thousands of leads a day coming in across markets and languages, each one acquired at a fraction of what it had been costing before. We worked with them for three years but the system that drove those results was in place and performing within the first 90 days.
When your message actually fits the person reading it, the math changes completely.
