Asociación Weirdo
Back to case studies
A website that supports the association’s work
For Asociación Weirdo, the website had a clear purpose: make it easier for people to support its work and give the team a platform it could manage with confidence.
The previous platform had passed through three designers without reaching a satisfactory solution. Donations were unavailable, and the purchase process was complicated. There was a gap between what the association needed and what its website could actually do.
At CAVIDAS, we built the project around closing that gap. The work brought the association’s presentation, contribution options, and day-to-day administration into a coherent experience.
Two ways to contribute, with the team in control
We developed a new website and platform, launched in mid-August, with two contribution routes: one-off donations and monthly membership contributions.
Supporters can now contribute through the website itself. The platform also makes administration easier, giving the association’s team greater autonomy over its content and processes.
We added the ability to create and manage workshops through the administration dashboard. At the time of preparing this case, two general recurring workshop listings are available, but no specific workshops have been created. The functionality is ready to support that activity as it develops.
A platform already fulfilling its purpose
Both contribution options are live, and contributions are coming in. The association has a platform that is easier for its team to manage and simpler for buyers and donors to use.
That is the project’s central achievement: turning an unresolved need into a working tool that supports both participation and administration.
Donation amounts, donation counts, and internal dashboard information remain private. This case demonstrates functional and qualitative improvements, without claiming unmeasured conversion gains or fundraising growth.
